Incoming mail is given a score based on content filter levels that the end user can define (from low to aggresive). If the mail exceeds the filter score, it is quarantined on the Reflexion server. Reflexion sends a summary of the quarantined emails once per day to the user so you can quickly glance at the blocked email subject lines and whitelist any legitimate senders that were filtered. All quarantined mail is kept on the Reflexion server for 30 days and then deleted. If any spam does trickle through the filter the end user can just click on the Reflexion "footer" in the bottom of the email message to permanently block the sender.

All email into and out of your business will flow through special gateway mail servers running the Reflexion software. Each POP mailbox for your domain will have a Reflexion user account created for them. Known senders should be added to each user's whitelist or the company-wide whitelist. If you use Outlook, download this utility, which will automatically extract your address book and sent items, and import those addresses to your whitelist on Reflexion. Inboxes protected by Reflexion are brought through a transition from "no security" to "flag mode" and finally to the hands-free "Total Control" security state. Yes, all end users will be able to control their own definition of security using Reflexion's Message Center. Rather than being responsible for keeping up with the myriads of tricks that senders of spam use, your employees or customers will simply be able to indicate how strict or sensitive they would like Reflexion to be. By default, they start in Content Filter mode. If they decide to use Whitelist mode, they start in "flag" mode, which simply flags all their spam while they build their whitelist, and then they switch to the hands-free "Total Control" mode.
